WMTI Staff MembersRaymond J. Miller, B.A., L.M.T., Institute Director Ray has been teaching at state approved massage schools since 1984 and is Director/owner of WMTI with twenty-three years of prior business experience. Aside from his role as Director, Ray teaches Ortho-Bionomy, Kinesiology and various massage technique classes at the Institute. He is a Registered Practitioner and Associate Advanced Instructor of Ortho-Bionomy. Ò He is Nationally Certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and b odywork. In private practice since 1983, Ray has continued his studies with courses in deep tissue massage, Neuromuscular Technique, MariEl, Polarity, Trager Psychophysical Integration, Feldenkrais work and Cranial Sacral work. Active in professional organizations, he has served on the Board of Directors of the AMTA-Illinois Chapter as President, Treasurer, and Education Director, the Society of Ortho-Bionomy International and the AMTA National Sports Massage Examining Committee. Ray also worked at the Pan-Am Games in 1987, Calgary Winter Olympics in 1988 and Goodwill Games in 1990. Linda L. Miller, L.M.T., Institute Administrator Linda brings 12 years experience in the health care industry to her position as Institute Administrator. The excellent communication and public relations skills she displays continues the sense of warmth and caring that WMTI has traditionally been known for. Linda joined WMTI in September 1992 as an Administrative Assistant and was promoted to her current Administrator position in October 1993. Linda is a bodyworker, Trance Channel, and a Reiki Master/Teacher. She graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 1986 and maintains a private practice. She has continuing education in Pranic Healing, Cranial Sacral, Polarity and Ortho-Bionomy. She is a certified member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals and an instructor at WMTI since 1996 teaching massage, channeling and Reiki. Linda has celebrated life as a Minister since the year 2000 with the focus of her ministry in channeling, healing and teaching. She is not related to Raymond Miller. Susan Chernetzki, Admissions Susan has over 25 years of experience in the sales and administrative field and has a passion for health and wellness. She is in the process of earning a PhD as a Nutritional Consultant. She had worked as a Realtor for the past 11 years and is now happy to be in an environment where she observes students dedicate their lives to helping others live a healthier life. Susan joined the staff at WMTI in February 2007. Wanda Lollar, Receptionist Wanda has had a varied career path as a full-time Mom, teacher, business administrator, and apartment complex manager. The many facets of customer service have been the primary focus throughout Wanda's career. Now her heart is directed toward providing the very best support and service possible to the faculty, students, staff, visitors and callers of WMTI. Marlynn Vavruska, Registrar Marlynn joined WMTI in October 2000. She was the Receptionist until September 2005 before assuming the role of Registrar. Her goal is to be supportive to the faculty and staff at WMTI and to assist and encourage each student. Debbie Lane, L.M.T., Education Coordinator & Admissions Debbie is a graduate of WMTI and is Nationally Certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and has been in private practice since 2002. Debbie has a degree in Health Education from DePaul University and 23 years experience in the health care field as a Clinical Research Associate in pediatric oncology. Carol Mugnaini, Retail Carol joined WMTI in December 2002. She previously owned a metaphysical bookstore in Bolingbrook for 6 years. Carol lost her lease when the building was sold and she had to move. She was guided to call Linda and Ray and became a welcomed addition in WMTI's Retail Store. Carol has training in Trance Channeling, Second-Degree Reiki and interpreting Aura photos. Carol is a Spiritual Advisor and is very knowledgeable in crystals, rocks and metaphysical studies. Beth Hemzacek, B.A., Bookkeeper Beth joined the WMTI staff in January 1994 as part-time Administrative Assistant and took on the bookkeeping tasks a few months later. Eventually Beth moved to full-time status. She received a BA in Liberal Arts from University of Illinois . She worked in the Travel Industry for 16 years, managing an Agency for 15 of those years. |
