We have been teaching professional massage therapy since 1989, long before it became popular. While many other massage programs have sprung up over the years, their purpose in starting operation is different than ours. We have a deep- felt love for the massage profession and feel that the lives of many are touched and changed in a positive way. Other programs may see the dollars and cents and place the human factor way in the background.

Clinical and Energetic Approaches to Massage Therapy

Having been in the education side of massage therapy for a while, we have seen changes in the approaches some schools take to training their students. With the proliferation of spa style relaxation massage some schools teach a very “vanilla” style of work. While we teach relaxation massage as a basic skill level, we also instruct in the clinical application of massage. Schools that focus on clinical application often neglect the energetic connection and exchange that goes on during massage and bodywork. We take pride in our cultivation of a healing consciousness in the therapist and client alike.

Flexible Schedule Options

We offer core classes in the both daytime and evening which gives students more options to fit their education around their work schedule. With trimesters commencing January, May and September our students can take time off for family or work and return when it is more convenient for them. Schools that have a set program taught over a specific timeframe do not often allow this flexibility. Other schools offer only evening classes and may meet every weekday.

Large Variety of Experienced Faculty

While some schools have one or two primary instructors, our core teaching staff numbers over fourteen. This allows for a variety of approaches and personalities to the practice of massage therapy. Our students benefit from the different perspectives each teacher brings to their education. All of the massage faculty are in private practice and thus bring their considerable knowledge and experience to their teaching.

Choice of Continuing Education Opportunities Onsite

Our commitment to excellence continues past graduation through the wide variety of continuing education seminars and bodywork disciplines we teach at our facility. Many massage schools do not offer such courses, choosing to focus on basic training only. Practicing professionals can attend our school and further their education while fulfilling licensing requirements. Advanced Massage Therapy Certificate available

If you have graduated from one of the many 500-hour massage programs, you can attend our advanced massage program and earn an Advanced Massage Certificate. The many elective courses and continuing education courses we offer can be parlayed into this advanced training.

Modern Facilities and Plentiful Free Parking

The 15,000 square foot building we call home was designed as a massage training facility. We have seven classrooms, a retail store, a student lounge and library. We are easy to get to and there is plenty of free parking in our private parking lot.
